Pretty darn close. . .
"Nearly identical to Ultra Male, and with the same excellent performance. Slightly less fruity, but still with that blast of sweet cinnamon bubblegum and powdery vanilla. Projection is great and the base has none of those funky woody ambers that so often overpower overseas replicas. Bottle is somewhat of a fingerprint magnet unfortunately and the cap is on extremely tight. But the atomizer is solid and the scent is playful and attractive. More of a night outer than an everyday-er if that makes sense."

"I have a collection of over 20+ designer and niche fragrances, and nothing has given me more compliments from girls than Platinum. The only one that comes close is JPG Le Male Le Parfum. Even though it's geared towards nightlife, you can still wear it throughout the day and smell amazing. I wore it as my signature scent on vacation to the Bahamas, and I had a group of 3 girls come up to me and ask me what I was wearing. Had another girl I took out on a date, and when we got to the back seat she couldn't stop sniffing me. She literally said "You smell so good, I don't want to leave". Ending up falling asleep in the back seat. The girl I'm with now demands that anytime we go out, I wear this. For sure, my go-to date scent, but I don't think it's as good as something like PDM Sedley or other mainstream fragrances for the club. The opening is a little rough, and you don't get the alluring, semi-sweet, creamy coconut until the dry down, where this really shines. Projects like a mofo and lasts 6hrs +. DO NOT OVER-SPRAY, YOU WILL SUFFOCATE THE WHOLE ROOM. 2-6 sprays max. Some negatives though: 1. The bottle is cheaply made. The silver coating started to peel off after a month. 2. The opening smells very average. You get a slight hint of pineapple, which gives it a slight fruity vibe, but it doesn't really mix well with the woody scent IMO. My cousin really likes the opening though, so I guess it's just personal preference. 3. Expensive for new brand that hasn't established itself yet. Other than that, probably in my top 5 fav scents. After an hour, probably in my top 3. Overall, the best compliment/girl puller scent I've ever smelled. I don't know how this hasn't gone mainstream yet. Great work, Derek."
