Reviews

Easy application

"The biggest thing you will eventually consider is the daily time of application, as the formulations for topicals are all quite similar. This eyedropper system is very quick, and definitely competes with the oral pill while saving you from the systemic impact. Definitely a good safe cheap quick way to start your hair growth product journey. Highly recommend."

Great product

"Easy to use, no reactions or any side effects. It’s working as marketed after about 30 days I am seeing some small re growth"

John S. (5/5)

Good product

"Seems to be a good product. I like how it dries quickly and also doesn’t dry out my scalp causing dandruff. I’m only a couple weeks in so too soon to tell if regrowth works or not."

Q&A

I bought 3 spray bottles at least 2 years ago but only sprayed a few times and stopped. Will the solution still be as potent now? Do I need a dermaroller when applying to my hairline?
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out! You can find the expiration date on the Minoxidil box. Whether the product is safe and effective depends on when it was purchased, so we recommend checking this date to confirm. While using the Derma Roller or Microneedling Pen is not required, it is highly recommended. Studies show that incorporating these tools can enhance hair growth. Can you use this for growing your beard as well? If so, can I use the same instructions as for the scalp?
Hey Marcus, While Minoxidil is mainly advertised for use on the vertex of the scalp, there is no reason why it wouldn't work for facial hair. Much of the research surrounding Minoxidil is exclusively conducted on the vertex of the scalp. However, there have been a few studies showing hair growth when applied to other areas (face/beard, hairline) along with countless positive anecdotal reports. A 2014 study with 16 healthy male subjects to study the effects of 5% Minoxidil topical foam on parts of the scalp other than the vertex found that Minoxidil was effective in treating hair loss in the frontal portion of the scalp as well as the vertex. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4362890/ Everyone reacts to Minoxidil differently, some will see major improvement, while others will not. It all depends on the individual's body chemistry. If possible, we'd also recommend microneedling, as this has the highest success rate when it comes to regrowing hair. Adding microneedling is the most effective way to ensure that the Minoxidil you apply will be effectively absorbed and give you the results you're looking for. I just got the spray applicator. How many pumps do I need to do to be equal to the dropper?
Hey John, Great question! Approximately 9 sprays are equivalent to 1mL from the dropper. -Intelligent Help
Is it 8 sprays to each spot needed or 8 sprays in total?
Hey Frank, Great question! Approximately 9 sprays are equivalent to 1mL from the dropper. These sprays should be evenly distributed across your scalp! -Intelligent Help
Why did you change from the spray?
The sprayer applicator was bulky and frequently received damage during transit. The nozzle also sprayed the Minoxidil solution more forcefully than we had anticipated. The dropper has a less bulky design and can more accurately apply the proper amount of solution. In the future we may have both options for people that are used to the sprayer applicator.
Dose this product have any health hazards? For heart or something other? (Im asking specifily for heart)
While normally a rare side effect, reports have shown that Minoxidil can increase chest pain (angina) or cause other heart problems. We'd recommend consulting with your doctor before trying any new hair loss products.
Does your product minoxidil contain propylene glycol
Yes, Intelligent Minoxidil contains propylene glycol but at a different ratio than normal minoxidil products, leading to a faster drying and less oily solution.
