I believe it’s more of a Fall/Winter fragrance but it does well on a cool Summer night. I have since bought Argon and H2O which are both great as well. I’m planning on getting Iron next.

    Carbon is subtle yet alluring enough to draw out unsolicited compliments on its sophisticated sweetness. Day or night, it’s a go cologne which I often alternated with Creed Aventus… until I ran out of both. Creed was a gift and I refuse to spend a small fortune on olfactory seduction, but Carbon fairly priced even though I purchased it for $54 two years ago and now it’s $80. The bargain category is long gone and now I’m hesitating to pull the trigger. Perhaps I’ll visit a local cologne wholesale warehouse or drop come some cash on intelligent shop. Either way, Carbon is worth buying.

    A scent even an everyday Joe like myself can appreciate without breaking the bank like Creed Aventus, which I was gifted 2 Christmases ago. Day or night, Carbon was my go to cologne no matter where I went. Subtle yet alluring, I often received compliments on its subdued sweetness while sufficiently potent to be noticed. Now I’m at a loss because so many new scents have emerged since the release of Carbon. I’m worried I’ll like all of the new scents or worse, that I’ll only like a few. Therefore my only viable choice is to purchase the fragrance sample bundle which I think is a bit overpriced considering the ml of product per scent. Maybe I’m just a cheap bastard. I’ve read numerous negative reviews about the scents and that only 2-4 are worth getting due to the similarities in tones or weak olfactory stimulation… too indistinct or muted. I’ll have to bite the bullet someday or keep buying Carbon. We will see. Now that I’m Carbon free, I’ll either buy it again or be tempted by the variety pack, to see which scents are truly Intelligent Shop caliber.

    I am no cologne expert so I am not sure exactly how to describe this fragrance. I have shown this cologne to a lot of my friends and they think it smells great, as do I. My girlfriend is picky when it comes to scents and even she enjoys it. Carbon is not overpowering and is pleasant to smell throughout the day. Some fragrances get annoying after smelling them all day but not Carbon in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Carbon to anyone looking to try a new fragrance or find their daily cologne.
